With a passion for families, Pastors Troy and Hayley moved to Madison, MS along with their four children in the fall of 2009. In April 2010, they launched Highland Chapel Church, where they served as Lead Pastors for 8.5 years. In the summer of 2018, Highland Chapel Church joined with City Heart Church Jackson, pastored by Kevin & Andrea Reid, former Executive Pastors of Highland Chapel Church. Pastor Troy currently serves as one of the overseeing pastors at City Heart Church.
With a continued love for Mississippi and passion for families in Madison County, Pastors Troy & Hayley launched “The Gathering Church” in March of 2020. With a handful of faithful people, an amazing group of students and their four children, they saw significant church growth through our nations “covid season’.
Today, “The Gathering Church” is continuing to thrive in Madison, MS with a heart to see people connected to a God that really loves them, a church that really cares and a purpose that eternally fulfills.
Pastors Troy & Hayley have pastored for 20 years serving at some of the most influential churches in our nation. Prior to moving to Mississippi, they served as Associate Pastors at New Life Church in Arkansas (Pastors Rick & Michelle Bezet) and Bethany Church Baton Rouge (Pastors Jonathan and Angie Stockstill). Additionally, Pastor Troy currently serves as a team member with the Bethany All Access Pastors Network, resourcing and encouraging pastors across the nation.
Pastors Troy & Hayley both graduated from Louisiana State University and both attended and completed graduate level training through the National Institute of Christian Leadership, founded by Dr. Mark Rutland. Additionally, Pastor Troy received his masters degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va, and his degree in Christian ministry from MTI (The Ministry Training Institute) at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, La.
Today, along with their four children, Pastors Troy & Hayley are committed to seeing “The Gathering Church” grow, expand and continue to reach families in Madison County and beyond!
